Anybody found a riser block system for the stateline yet? I contacted Scootworks and they say their R & D team is working on a set but that was months ago.

Not I, but I would like something for my Interstate that wouldn't require new handlebars. All I needs is an inch to get them right where I want them.
I hear ya. That is what scootworks told me they were working on. They make riser systems that give you a 2 inch rise and 1 inch pullback with zero need for new bars or cables. Check out their site at Scootworks.com
Scootworks told me yesterday it would be just a couple of days before they had a setup for the Interstate/Stateline!
Received an update from Scootworks today:

Question asked: "Do you have risers for the Honda VT1300 Stateline? When will they be available?"

Response from Scootworks received today:

We are completed with development and testing of these and should begin full production in another 2-3 weeks. We're completing a new machine shop to get all of our machinery in one building, so we'll be busy moving and getting that set up in about 2 weeks. I'll drop you a note when they're ready. Thanks for your interest!

Sincerely,
Dave Hockaday

Would these also work on the Sabre?
I don't know. You could contact Scootworks at this phone # (919) 269-0986 or via email at [email protected]

Latest status I received from Scootworks on Dec. 29th:

We are part way through the first production run now. We are shutting down in a few days to move the equipment into our new, larger machine shop, so I expect them to be ready for shipment sometime early January.
Our new machine shop will allow for all of our machinery (currently in 4 different buildings) to be all in one location and streamline our operations a bit more.

Sincerely, Dave Hockaday
emailed Scootworks today and received the following info--

The SWR-9 does not fit the Stateline. We have another model we're about to release to the public in about 2-3 weeks for the Stateline, Interstate, and Sabre 1300. They are going to raise the bars 2" and pull them back 3" from stock position.
Sincerely,
Dave Hockaday

FYI- as indicated above Scootworks has delayed this release for months with various reasons.

I for one am tired of waiting and ordered the following 1.5 inch tall risers from Cruiser Customizing:

LA Choppers 1.5 inch risers for 1.25 inch handlebars

I called LA choppers today and they said these risers come with bolts for a honda install. Has anyone installed these yet on their bike?

Thanks

1/23/2012 Update: Received the risers from LA Choppers. Contrary to what they told me on Jan 13th these do not work on stock handelbars for the Honda Stateline. There is no mounting hardware to allow them to connect to the bottom of your stock bars. I will have to return them. Sorry for getting our hopes up that someone would make such risers.

I am going to be patient and see if Scootworks finally releases these risers but am curious if those LA risers work. A 2" rise and 3" pullback sounds good but I wonder if new cables will be necessary. That will make the price jump up if cables are needed. Had a set of Scootworks risers before and they were of good quality.
Called Scootworks tech support yesterday. The guy said they are a week or two away from selling the risers. Still in the process of consolidating 5 buildings into one renovated building.
Received this email today from Scootworks:

"We are just not ready to try them again at this time. We only made 1 set and have simply not had the time to redraw and adjust them. We may do something in the future, but I don't know when.

Sorry.

That's just stooopid.....
I had a feeling they were going to pull that one off.
oh well, guess were going to have to pester some other folks to get a set out.
Cannella makes a nice riser for the Fury. I had e-mailed him last fall and he said he might be interested if enough interest. Maybe if the members here could send him an e-mail showing interest he could come up with some? Just google Cannella risers and check out his website. I've had enough of the bull**** from Scootworks.
