Hey All,
I searched the forum before posting this and did not find this info. So here you go.
I know that we always are looking for the latest greatest place to get aftermarket parts for our rides and it hasn't been easy. Especially when it comes to things like radiator covers. Well I found one last night on Cobra's web site. I must admit I think it looks quite good, with the exception of the "C" in the middle. I mean, ok, they want to brand their products so we advertise for them when others see it. But come on, Doesn't that defeat the purpose of Custom Look. They seem to be tacking into the accessories market. Anyway just thought I would share.

I received my Cobra radiator cover on Friday and put it on on Saturday. It's a nice piece of chrome and pretty affordable. It really gives the bike a finished look , following the down tubes curves nicely. It also wraps under slightly on the bottom. All it takes is two screws and there is a piece of double stick tape on the underside of the top edge. Minutes to install.

would have been nicer though if they had a cobra (Snake) cut into it instead of the C.

Here you go folks....I think this one is fresh out into the marketplace. I've been scouring the net looking for something other than the Cobra radiator cover and this one just started popping up at a few sites from Show Chrome. This one below is a few bucks off the lowest price but with free S/H it ends up being less expensive than another one I've found. I think I'm going this route!

Love the look of this new grill and think it would look great on my Interstate, but it stated that it is an ABS grill? Doesn't that mean plastic?

I think you're right, Uncle Mank. I once ordered a new license plate frame that said it was ABS chrome and indeed it was plastic.

You're both right on! Good info.

ABS = Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, an extremely durable thermoplastic polymer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABS_RESIN

I like the look of it so I'm going to give it a shot. Interestingly enough the new VT1300 trio (Sabre, Stateline & Interstate) all have their fair share of chromed ABS already. I'm not a big fan of that but liked the Interstate enough to buy it anyway. Hope it's tough enough to last!

I ordered some deep dish bezels as well (smoked amber front and red rear) to replace the stock signals. A few new touches at a time!
