I am curious why did you purchase a PCV, what is the benefit?
The bikes come pretty lean from the factory and improving the flow will cause them to lean out more, Most aftermarket pipe and intake manufactures recommend adding these if the exhaust or intake are changed out. Allows you to tune your bikes EFI.I too am curious as to why, but will take any free instructions on bike work I can get.

I may be absolutley wrong, but I believe the question as to why the Power Comander V is being used is because, why would you not install the Cobra unit instead? Less cost and made specific to the bike and so far has been proven to be a winner. I know that when I purchase my Cobra pipes, I will be using thier fuel module.Brew is correct. Also, I am a tinkerer by nature. I like knowing what's going on, and being able to tweak things as I see fit.
I have this PDF, along with more up at one of the Fury sites. I'm not sure if I am suppsoed to say which one. They just didn't have the file size restriction.
Whynot, the email's on its way.
This sounds very interesting and has my curiosity up. Do you have an image of the screen you are talking about with the gear indicator on it? I would like to read about how you did the tunning and such as well if you can post that. Or could you email it to me as well? If all those options are in the PC V, I might also opt for that unit when the time comes. ThanksThe Cobra offers three settings that you can adjust. The Power Commander allows you much more granular tuning ability. Also, The Power Commander allowed me to hook up a screen that has a number of gauges. I configured the tachometer and the speedometer. By having these two configured I was also able to set up a gear indicator. I don't normally ride with all that, but I do have the option. Lastly, for those who don't want so many options for tuning, the Power Commander does allow you to adjust just the three values that the Cobra has. You can tune them on a percentage basis, as opposed to a number that is seemingly arbitrary. (On the Cobra, what do 1 and 2 mean?) It's really just a personal preference thing. I've read great things about the Cobra units, but the Power Commander fits my personality much better.
I know you posted this a while back, but I just now saw it. If you'd like I can get some images. It's called the "LCD Unit" on PowerCommander's site. There are images there. I can take more specific pictures if there's anything in particular that you really want to see. I installed the speed sensor wire myself (like the rest of the unit), and that'll be necessary for you to be able to use the gear indicator function. I am looking for a good way to mount the LCD. I had one of Kuryakyn's handlebar mounts for cell phones, but I tightened the screw too much and it would touch my handlebar. I saw a small nick in the chrome and took that thing off for good. I am thinking of getting a tank bag with a clear plastic cover for a GPS unit. this screen is about the same size and utilizes touchscreen controls. This sounds very interesting and has my curiosity up. Hey Zeke, I don't think that you will get a response from Boogie. He hasn't been on here since 2012. However, Drepanon was last on here last summer. You can try to email him....doesn't hurt to send an email and ask....
Oops...forgot to include the quote of your post....boogienightspke.... I would love to get your help on PC V...thanks Zeke
