If you are using the elegant blue skin the "new post" button is in the banner at the bottom right...says "view new content". I'm gonna work on getting something at the top.

If your using the IP board skin it's near the upper right.

If your using a smart photo you will automatically see a nice phone interface and can choose to see the full version at the bottom.

That should head off the first question.
