Hello To all,
Sharing some positive experience with the tribe!
So... Continuing on trying to increase visibility.

Kuryakyn Deep Dish Bezels With Lenzes
http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/deep-dish-bezels-w-lenses-various-honda-kawasaki/part/KY-DEEP-BEZL
Such a minor, quickly installed piece of equipment and whatta difference in looks and performance. I've seen them on the street and on this forum and knew I would eventually arrive to this install. Just thought it would be the looks that would be affected. Cosmetics and esthetics o to speak ;) Didn't see it coming that because Kuryakin added lenses and a cup mirror reflector it would increase the incandescent output some much! :)

Another really cool idea to increase your visibility for those who are of the sleepy cager variety is a blinking tail break light. Well, Kisan has a very simple solution.
Integrated blinking tail light bulb. Amazingly simple install.
Just plug and play!

Arty,

Excellent choices all. I JUST got my deep dish bezels. I chose red for the rear and amber for the front. I swear that the stock lenses are out of the 1968 parts bin. Now you've got me looking at the modulating taillight. Kuryakyn has a similar pulsing bulb for about $45. M u s t S t o p S p e n d I n g $ $.

Of course I hope you really never needed for its true purpose ;)

Hmmm thought there was a little bell ringing when I read your post. Before unpacking your sets, check local laws about signals and markers. In my city and state rear facing signals in red are illegal. You can get a citation easily when PD cruiser is checking your chromed behind ;)

Arty, Thanks for the thought. I'm sure that I'm fine here. I had a nice chat earlier this year with a motorcycle safety rep. The law (169.57 subd2) says "...turn signals visible 100 feet...no red front, no blue unless you are a snowplow...". I thought about white on the front and we agreed that even though they are legal, it's a bad idea because drivers are used to seeing amber front on everything and blinking white may just look like a bad bulb. I will also use hand signals, flares, and bottle rockets as needed.

I use Roman Candles...gets more visibility and notice from the cagers when you bounce one off their windshield...haha

First of all Burnsey you are very welcome!
Glad you are in good enough spirit to poke around here!
Anything you buy now, can be chalked off to your recovery process. Since it is bringing you positive emotions... Good excuse eh?;)
Second, I'm pretty shocked. You being a long standing member around here (I know I'm setting myself up here, with this one) one would think you've already bought everything imaginable for your ride, let alone these little trinkets I posted about. Fugeddabouddit! :D
Appreciate the rain, looks like it hitting on Saturday.
Since I ride and go to the range Sunday, I like my roads and range clean :p

Ride safe and soon!

P.S. What did you buy? :D

I saw your video for the front lenses, I'm ordering both front and rear in amber.

Seeing the lighted ring to the visible to the side, BAM! Better visibility to the front and rear, as well as safety to the sides.
In my book, a no brainer and worth every penny.

Thanks for the support guys. This forum has been an outlet for me instead of venting. And the couple of trips to the range has helped as well. Using a standard B21 target, been practicing my police body armor drill, two to the chest and one to the head. When I was getting tired it was two to the chest and one to the nuts (ouch!)...hahaha.
