Bought my Stateline ABS model (Red) in April, 2010. I think it was either the very first or second ABS model to arrive in Canada - bought it over the phone from my local Honda dealer.
I had it flat-bedded to my home and it looked so good sitting on top of the flatbed it was stopping traffic. When it was being unloaded I had about a half dozen people come around the bike asking what it was. One person asked if it was a new Harley model? Since then everywhere I go it gets looks and compliments. Funny, I bought it more for the attributes and functionality: Relaible Cruiser with ABS. I think if I was going for looks I would have bought a Harley. I have since really gotten attached to the unique look of this bike.
It has amazing balance - nice low centre of gravity and it just goes where you look with extreme ease. Easily the most rideable bike I have been on.
I am not sure what I will do with this bike when it comes to dressing it up. Part of me wants to just leave it stock as a tribute to Honda making a bike like this but I have seen a few things I like for example: Chrome drive shaft cover, chrome rear frame corner covers and I love the Cobra swept pipe look and think it will look and sound great on this bike (You can see it on a Fury on Youtube). Cobra also has a performance intake and air filter. For sure it is getting a full removable visor and (probably) a Garmin GPS with Bluetooth for trips .
I considered the Interstate but I was told we are not getting an ABS Interstate in Canada so that left me the Stateline. One thing is for sure the pictures do not do the bike justice; it is stunning with the red paint on this bike.
I'm looking forward to sharing parts websites (since there is very little for this bike right now and even less in Canada) and I am looking forward to sharing pics and stories.
