Any of you guys with the Cobra Powerflo Intake, How are you cleaning it? Mine is pretty gunked up with bugs and guts but Im kinda leary on just spraying water in it to clean em out. Have you guys found a good way? Let me know...

The nuts on the cover are SAE 3/8, take those (3) off, pull the filter out and wash it in hot soapy water, rinse and let dry then reinstall. The nuts can be a bit of a pain since they are on the backside of the intake, but I used an open end 3/8 and got them off without to much of a hassle.

Make sure you oil the K&N filter or you may/will damage the engine by sucking in all that dirt.

You can purchase a K&N cleaning/oiling kit at most Automotive Parts Stores. I went to the K&N web site for a list of stores that carry these. The instructions included with the kit are simple and straightforward. B)
