hi guys i am picking up my new 2010 sabre tomorrow. This will be my first cruiser style bike. I have had 3 of the dreaded crotch rockets, but i am looking to slow things down and enjoy riding on the road more rather than the track. I went ahead and had the dealership add a sissy bar for the mrs. and a cobra swept exhaust with the power commander needed for the fuel ratio i'm guessing??
I have a few more mods in mind but need some help...

1. i would like to replace the handlebar grips when measuring do i measure circumference, diameter, OR someone could just tell me what size to order hahaha
2. I like the wheels but wish they were chrome. i saw where a member "stump" does chroming. how hard is the rear wheel to remove and brake down (i've never messed with a shaft drive). also not to offend anyone but does this stump do good work?

thanks for all the help in advance i look forward to hearing from you all!!!

Hi Josh. I just had put chrome wheels on my Interstate this week. I posted some pictures on the Interstate Forum if you want to see what they look like.

They use 1" grips. Stump has an excellent rep, but if he doesn't have any wheels for exchange, and you get yours done, might take several weeks to get them back
