If you're a new member, posting a graphic, or link can be a small mystery at first.... but it's no secret, you just have to know which icon to click on. I'm placing a couple pics here, of a post box where you'll create your post, and one of the area where you actually paste the URL address to your image or link.

I used to use Photobucket to store my pics & gifs, it's easy & free, there are other free places to link to also. If you start an Photobucket Imgur account I'd recommend making special folders inside your account to keep things organized, it's also faster to open when there's fewer pics to load each time you login to PhotoBucket  Imgur

If you want to post up a gif, go to giphy.com and choose one of the Billions of gifs there.

You can also do a quick, direct link to an online JPG or GIF by right clicking on a graphic from a webpage, then select "Copy image URL" then paste that info, the down side there is if the link is changed or removed, your post is also changed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Below is the pop-up window for images, if you chose to link a graphic image. Paste the link to your saved graphic into the URL field, and press OK. The process is pretty much the same if you want to insert a link to a webpage. Just use the icon which looks strangely enough like some links in a chain.
This was a quick attempt to help new members with this task, and I'm open to any suggestions on how to improve or change it.
Also here's some extra help ---> http://www.vtcafe.co...ore&module=help
How do you post a picture, not a link, to a post?
How do you post a picture, not a link, to a post?
If you are using Photobucket, open the pic you want by clicking it. On the right side there a box "image links" go to "direct link", click on it and it should change to "copied", come back to you post and click on the photo (green arrow above) paste you copied link, click "ok" and you should get your pic
This is hard, maybe I'm too old? Is there an address to send in pictures after they are developed?
I like to use imgur.com, it's easier to get the links and not as bloated as photobucket IMHO.
A wish is only a body shop away. All it takes is cubic money.
That's all fine and dandy, but life's different living with a two dimensional budget  :)
Wanna see pics of my bike? How do you put my Polaroid pics on the internet?....
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body...
But rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming .... WOW what a ride.
Doesn't Wal*Mart or Walgreens do scans to digital format? Camera on smartphone. Camera on most laptops.
Ask anyone with a smartphone to snap 'em and email to ya. Of course this last method would be lower quality.
Hi ECHO,
To change or add an account picture you will need to have a 200 X 200 JPG file hosted somewhere i.e. Photobucket, or even your gallery on the forum here.
Copy the link to the graphic (URL) to your clipboard.
Click on the down arrow that's next to your name.
Click on "Settings"
Click on "Change photo"
You may need to click on "Remove photo" if there's already one there that you want to change.
(If you click on "Remove photo" you will need to start over with the "Down arrow again"
Paste the link to the graphic (URL) that's on the clipboard into the field, then import.
I may need to edit these instructions as needed.  ;)
Thanks for the reply. I currently have a photo on the hard drive that's 1024 x 768 so that probably why it won't upload :(   I can't change the settings on my phone to take a photo at 200 x 200.  Not sure what my next step is.
