Looks like the same dang part just one is black and the other silver. The 11332-MM5-000 part fits our bikes where as the 11332-MER-D00 is listed for other bikes. The size, shape and everything looks to be the same with the exception of color. Anyone have any way of knowing if the 11332-MER-D00 will fit our bikes? I'm in a pinch and need the cover before Thursday this week. Heading to the mountains for a camping ride and this will break the trip if I don't have it. Found i11332-MER-D00 at many stores online that are ready to ship. The 11332-MM5-000 says a week or longer. ugh...

I was looking at Partzilla and couldn't see any crossover between the models listed. But I might have missed some because there's so many listed.

Both say they're 45mm -  so IDK maybe it is just the color.

I might be tempted to just order the one I can get in case it does fit. you can always send it back if it doesn't. It is a small so return postage isn't going to be a killer.

You could call their customer help line @ 229-584-0046

What happened to your original cap?

I was needing one in a rush and couldn't find 11332-MM5-000 locally or online within a 4 day period and could not find one.
However, I did find
11332-MER-D00 available all over the net and could have it within 4 days. I had already spoken to Pzill and about a million other parts places. Nobody, including myself see anything physically different with the exception color as well. I 've totally blacked out the bike with the exception of some bold being chrome for accent color so the black cap actually fits color scheme better. I even cross-referenced the O-Ring that both parts use and those even matched. What it looks like it will boil down too is the treading . I have one arriving today and will let ya'll know.

As for the original cap...honestly not sure. It did fall off on a ride though don't know where or how. Took a 100mi + ride on Easter Sunday. Never noticed it missing until a few hours getting home and went to wash the bike. I had taken a pic of the bike some 40mi prior and though you can't see the cap missing, you can see some oil on the exhaust and crankcase so there's no telling how many miles I went without it on. The good news is, there wasn't enough oil lost to even make a notice on the stick. At some points I even hit my 6,500rpm limit and speeds of up to 80mph so just counting blessing here...

I can't imaging why Honda would make two almost totally exact parts, that do the same thing . . . then fudge around with the threading.

But ya never know!

Just remember I'm pullin' for ya, we're all in this together!  :D

They fit. Same part, different color. Even found a 3rd part number that's the same part: 11332-ML7-000

Good deal, the ride is on!

You said you're heading to the mountains for a camping trip, would those be the great mountains of Florida?  :D
